hey everyone my names jesse and im new to i-club. i was told this is a good place for Subi owners and after checking it out i decided to finally join.

anyway i got a sappy story, my 2005 wrx got stolen back in june and was never found... it was a really clean lil ride and had a full 05" sti front end conversion with the usual bolt-ons and a nice tune from EQ in Fairfeild

i gave up hope a long time ago and now i want another project.. ive been looking around and such but have had no luck, people always beat me to it ! so if you have a rolled over/crashed/stripped WRX i am very serious about buying it !

UNLIKE alot of people i dont care about a "clean" title or low miles since i PLAN on KEEPING the car and i am not trying to sell it. i manage a bodyshop in San Leandro CA, so i do have the required facility's to do extensive repairs.

i can pick up the car and i am willing to travel. i dont mind the year/exact model/color or if its missing quite a few parts.

I WILL PAY decent money for your car but also i dont want to pay blue book for something that is totaled. (i hope thats a reasonable request and that you understand)

i am also kinda interested in getting a car that was once someones project but due to circumstances they cant repair/keep the car but dont wanna see it junked, that would be a huge plus because i think it would be cool for the previous own to see the car back on the road fully built and alive once again.

last but not least im sorry if my story is sappy and annoying but i worked really, really hard to save up and buy the car and build it to where it was and to just have it taken away sucks so hard. people make fun of me but you never really understand ( if you WORKED for the car) what its like to have it gone in the blink of an eye at no fault of your own unless it happens to you..... anyway please PM me if you have something or know of someone..

hey man this is pretty much what i did:

go to Rancho Cordova Subaru Recycling center and tell them you need a shell... they were real cool about helping us out and you can bargain with them... they told us 1500 dollars for a shell that had some front end damage but came with a door and springs and struts... well then they said with tax it was 2300 and we said we didnt want to pay Uncle Sam and he fixed the tax amount to equal 1500 dollars...
