Anyone looking for the mother of all race car shell's?
I just broke down and admitted it that I am never going to have the time to build this car anymore given our current car and a couple of new cars coming our way middle of this year.
Here's the Skinny, it's a GD shell with 24,000 miles on it clean title but I have to say this is beyond the no turning back point as far as putting back on the road (well unless your a lunatic!)
So what's so special about this shell? well it comes built as follows and with the following!
GD shell converted to 06-07 front end
120+ hours of spot weld drilling in A,B & C pillars (same as Prodrive do for the rally cars!)
Roof line lowered and raked
Dimple die paneling installed and spot welded like OEM into the inside of the A, B and C pillars
Seibon carbon hood
Seibon carbon trunk
Seibon carbon doors
APR Widebody fully molded to shell (comes with complete APR widebody, bumpers, fenders, side skirts the whole **** and shabodale!)
Seibon carbon roof (will need to be modified to fit due to roof lowering!)
Overall the shell is nearly 200lbs lighters than stock with no loss in torsional rigidity, this car does need a cage which it's ready for.
Somethings to be put out there, rear belly pan is removed (where the rear seats go, for a cell) One of the side rear widebody panels needs a little TLC due to a crack caused by me catching it with a harness I was moving (2 hours work tops and I can fix if needs be!)
Anyway there it is a low mileage race shell with over $8k of aftermarket light weight parts and a ton of labor in it!

I remember all the times I was down there BS'ing with Brian Lock while he was working on it. Kind of a bummer, but I am sure someone will ensure the car's destiny is fulfilled.
BTW I have the old wiring harness and door cards if anyone needs em
I also have an STI drivetrain (minus engine) if the future owner needs it.
