LINK 44-S Standalone ECU (MAF DELETE), fully programmable
Hey guys,
Selling my Link 44S Computer. I've used it to run MAF less for about 50K miles, right now managing a GT30R. Excellent computer for big power applications. Direct plug and play, fully user programmable. Fuel economy so-so, about 15-18mpg. This is a new revision of the 44-S with the latest software downloaded onto it.
Controls cable t-body for 02-05 WRX only (no STI). Plug N Play.
Retail price is over $1000, I am letting it go for $500.
WHY THE LINK 44S?
The link 44-S is a completely user programmable ECU. Its primary feature that makes it so valuable is the fact that it is a MAP based ECU. What this means is that you remove the pesky factory MAF sensor out of the equation. As those of you with GT30 or larger turbos already know, the MAF becomes a significant limitation for big power cars. Not only is it extremely difficult to compensate / tune for (such as the Perrin Big MAF) it still becomes a limitation. This is why ECU's such as the Hydra and AEM allow for the deletion of the MAF. So, bottom line if you want big power and a very economical price (AEM starts at $1300) this is the ECU for you.
Please contact if interested.
