Legacy GT front brakes (ideal WRX upgrade)
*** SOLD ***
Finally getting around to selling 2005 Legacy GT front brakes. Includes Calipers, 5x100 rotors and Hawk HP pads. You can re-use your stock lines, and besides a bottle of brake fluid this is everything you need to do the switch.
Calipers are painted black, though they could use a fresh coat. Lots of meat left on the pads, rotors are slightly lipped. Not sure about the total mileage, since I'm second user. I've got about 40K on them. Slide pins regreased a couple of weeks back.
For the uninitiated this is a good "poor man's BBK" setup for the WRX (or '04 STi). Bigger calipers and rotors than stock, and these won't fit under 16" stock WRX wheels. Good braking torque bump over the stockers. I've noticed some rubbing when cornering sharply, but it's not horribly intrusive. You'll need to bend your rotor dust shields back a few degrees to accomodate the larger rotor diameter, otherwise they bolt right up.
Here's a thread on the topic.
I'm gradually backing off my car's setup, so went back to stock.
$Sold in Oakland, CA. Will ship at buyer's expense. I'd expect it to cost about $50 given the weight, but will charge actual shipping (capped at $50).
