jdm 5mt 4.44 sti complete gearbox - good gears and case $250
i have a 98 sti JDM 5mt complete. for those who dont know, the gears are same width and strength in japan between wrx/sti/sti-ra, Only the GEARING itself (super short buzxzzzz rally gearing for RA, 4500-5000 rpm on the freeway fun!.
this gearbox needs some work. thus $250. also, im sick of looking at it and have 2 spares for my own car, so i dont need this. $250 cash takes it.
complete with good center diff and tail section (unbloted but everything is there and included to buyer to reassemble. Steel shift fork as well- its JDM sti!
the front imput to clutch seal needs replacing- this part is $30 @ your prefered subaru dealer, usdm 1998 rs seal will be direct fit.
Syncros are in proper working condition, all actuall gears are fine, this was removed from a friends running car and driven to the garage it was taken down in. this is GOOD. NOT broken.
YOU will need at least a front seal, and if you're paying labor for a front seal (u ahve to crack the transmission case) you might as well have a proffessional rebuild (or not if you are DIY type of person).
the case is good as well, Direct plug and play fit to any EJ20 engine or EJ25, turbo or na. same ****. compatible clutch/flywheel wouldb e 02-05 wrx,
gearbox is a 4.44 fd iirc, you can swap your rear diff to 4.44 OR change the front diff to a usdm wrx one to fit with your current rear and save time/money.
