A friend did it and half of it came off in a few weeks - he had to redo about half, then it was okay. He moved away so I can't ask for his help.

You could also try talking to this guy https://www.i-club.com/forums/interior-exterior-lighting-69/complete-interior-sound-deadening-71583/ (FosterAFB) He offered to do it for people over a long weekend for a lot cheaper than a shop will, but he'll take longer, and of course he's not a professional. I'd just do it myself though (I'm currently in the process of installing Raam mat in my car, but school takes to much time) And its fairly simple, just time consuming. Good Lcuk
I am a professional installer at Best Buy in San Jose and install the stuff all the time. As long as you get Dynamat Extreme you should be aight. A heat gun won't hurt either. What panels you trying to cover? How much were you quoted?

another idea: I am thinking of having dynamat or some such, and am thinking of doing it myself. If you want we can team up, I am sure that 2 people doing 1 car at a time will take faster.
also, is raamat better then fatmat? I am getting close to ordering some of this stuff
cheers
