haha wow, its pretty funny that this is a subie site but everyone is voting evo,
ok but heres the downfall...
what if the evos engine was changed and a 5spd tranny was put in it?
AND
THE REAL DOWNFALL: car was stolen stripped so they salvaged it
but the guy that has it has been working on evos for over 5 years now, rebuilding and putting them back together, he is legit and i have known him for over 10 years.
Car actually has no frame damage also, salvaged from THEFT.
I know its a salvage, but i just wouldnt mind a white evo 9 for 15k

But c'mon, it's an EVO IX vs a WRX. It's a bit of a no brainer.

However, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I will vote for the 08. It is plenty fast, and way more comfortable than the evo and this is not just because I drive one. In the premium you get a nice radio climate control, heated seats, all sorts of things that make girls comfortable in car. Since I dont plan on taking my car to the track it is still fast enough to have plenty of fun on the freeway.
If you think that they are both ugly then simply wait and buy neither. Plus salvage titles are bad news. They are hard to insure, and very very hard to resell. Most banks wont give you loans on salvaged cars, and if you are ever in a pinch you probably wont even be able to trade it in. Even though the frame is in good shape salvaged usally equals bad news.
