I wish I could get them for that price. Jspeed doesnt give much discount at all. Then factor in shipping from Japan and customs...the U.s. gets raped. The best I could do is lower each level by $5.

$235=10+
$225=15+

that was exactly what i was thinking. not to mention the fact that a cage will make the car safer in the event of a crash. kinda hoses the ol' warranty though....

True. But not everyone wants a cage in their car...esp if its a daily driver for a family with babies.

As a good seem welding job would do more than this.

Cage isn't always safer in a crash. If you're in a offset crash and your head goes into the c pillar (or whichever one is behind the driver side) you'll most likely suffer serious trama. There is an outside chance you will die.

Thus all occupants in a fully caged car should always wear a helmet. ALWAYS.

Also a cage should run at least 2 g's installed. 1 G for the cage then another G to get it fitted properly, and get new interior stuff and everything sorted out.

Cages are not a little more than 235. The cheapest I've ever seen one is on primm for like 800, and that was a return item.

Cages aren't for everyone.

check your prices again this isnt a custom 12 point we are talking about here. U can source a cusco cage for around 600 and that is the street version. Give or take a few bucks.

No seriously...that's weird. Some sort of payback from the japanese site since we're leeching their bandwidth for the picture?

Heh. Get a mac.
You can't copy characters from another language if you don't have the font as pointed out. You are copying your current 1 byte character set's display in English of 2 byte Asian characterset.

Here is how to use babelfish on a site like this:
Go to the site, click the link.
Open the frame in a new window(control click on the content of the frame), copy the URL and paste that into the URL part of babelfish and set to Japanese to English.
Click Translate.
The you get this (beware literal translation):
http://babelfish.altavista.com/babel...p=ja_en&tt=url
Or for the really lazy:
Strut side tower bar"metal reinforcement"
It bends well! Entering and being sticky the front are different!
Preeminent cornering quality is born. . . .

Practical new idea register end

Former front With the super high rigidity which exceeds full reinforcement as for cost 1/10!
As for removal and re-installation and drill and welding of difficult fender all unnecessary volt/bolt on installing!
As for the adapter unit strength and the precision which with individual lock system are superior even in welding!

There is, various reinforcement methods such as welding and urethane material filling up and installing of the roll bar in guaranty of body rigidity. But that every one is reinforcement of the rear from the front bulkhead, when of rigid balance of the whole body which, includes the front part and problem of cost are thought doubt occurs. To, until recently reinforcement method the conspirators the functionality which is different was had, it is the epoch-making front body reinforcement part which produces the high rigidity where "the metal reinforcement" most connected the front reinforcement and the monocoque frame which have influence in handling, balance took. Removal and re-installation of the fender*1 and drill processing and welding etc. being unnecessary, it can install simply with volt/bolt on. As for cost 1/10 of former front full reinforcement. Individual installation system * you adopted 2tothe installation section, you succeeded in guaranteeing the installation strength like welding. The professional, in all drivers from the beginner, can be different handling and cornering bodily sensation to do, probably will be.
Installation strength like welding. Individual installation system
In order with the anchor volt/bolt whose diameter is larger than the mounting hole of the reinforcement, to crush the hole, while expanding, securely the lock. There are no times which are different from mere volt/bolt installation, cause the gap.
* 1 Model of part removal and re-installation of the fender is necessary. * 2 You install the model of part and system differs.
There is the real reason babelfish sux *****.

It sounds like they are claiming it is better than welded seams or a roll cage.

p.s. If you are wonder how I copied the translated babelfish link, it is the same as the site, it opens in a frame so you have to open the frame in a new window to see the url.

Oh and 19,800 yen is about $181.059 right now, so I figure the price above must include freight and shipping.
