As sad as it makes me to say it, the time has come to part ways with my baby. The car has been sitting in my garage for the past year and a half with hopes of getting around to a complete makeover, but due to recent developments, I've decided it will be best at this time in my life to move on.
I will post pictures as soon as I can, but just to give an idea the car has some damage to the left rear quarter panel, right front fender, and the right front headlight is cracked. As far as the engine goes, it had a little less than 180K on the odometer if i remember correctly (battery is dead so I'll need to charge it to get the exact mileage) when it was still running. I had neither the time nor the resources to tear it down or get it properly diagnosed, but what I can tell you is that the last time it was running the engine was knocking pretty bad and was not holding oil pressure. I really wish I could provide more specific information regarding the engine issues, but due to lack of finances and tools/space to do the job, this is the best that I am able to do.
I've had the car since brand new in Aug. 2003, and it still has a clean title. Since I have been the only owner of the vehicle, I am able to answer any other questions you may have.
I was hoping to build another engine, and since bodywork was already needed, I really wanted to go widebody, but such dreams are no longer practical for me. I know all these words are almost meaningless without pics, but I will post as soon as I clean out my garage a little bit, but anyone interested is more than welcome to come by and take a look (San Jose/Milpitas area). Feel free to post any questions, give me a call, or shoot a text to 408.506.1499. Call or text may be better for a more immediate response since I do not always have internet access.
Thanks for reading
