Would you mind if I came by to check it out, maybe take it for a spin around the block... I trust your word and all but I'm REALLY tall so I don't always fit in small cars but I hear the Lotus fits people my height.

The car is beautiful. How fast is it compared to an STi lets say? I've never driven one but have always loved the look and potential as a track monster!

haha you are always welcome, but to be honest, im not sure you will fit. its Definitely not a comfortable ride for an every day car at ALL (except for me haha), and i had tall people very uncomfortable in the drivers seat/ or could not fit as well. in this lotus specifically, you will have a bit less distance scooting the seat back because i do have 6" subs behind the seats enclosed in a box (which can be removed upon request and will discount the price of car)

im not sure how this car will do vs an sti, but i think the elise has a 13.4 quarter mile potential at least assuming stock weight with one driver. weight dramatically affects the cars performance since it doesnt have a lot of power to play with and weight is its advantage.

redline is 9000 something... its tough to even take it that high ive never even fully redlined it yet. it starts pulling at 6000 rpm when 2nd cam kicks in. definitely not a car with torque, but id say its very "quick and nimble"

in regards to road course racing, omg. this would be the PERFECT car for sure imo. it would be crazy fun

depends on driver and driving style. I think if you put the same person in each vehicle, longterm, the driver will be faster in the elise IMO.
