::
how long have you had 60's & approx use? (daily driver+use?) sorry, never bought used spkrs b4 & always been hesitant, due to risk of buying damaged or DOA items.
::
will you sell w/spacers? (really don't want to mess w/other mods....prefer as drop-in+plug & play as possible)
::
please confirm...ANY other mods necessary to fit in bugeye?....grind door panel or spacers for window track+etc? (again, really don't have time to take on another project but tired of stock "premium" spkrs)
::
::
thx again!

The Pro60SE's are new in the box....
The spacers I made are not for sale because I reused them for the Boston SPZ's I ended up installing. I can however make more. They take about an hour to make a pair so not to sound greedy but at a stereo shop that could be 50-100 dollars. There was a guy on here selling cnc plastic spacers pretty cheap but I can't remember his name. Not exactly sure what I might charge but I don't have many extra hours right now....
Once the space is done, I prewire the crossovers on the bench and then the install takes about 30-45 minutes a door or about 2 hours with the bench time. Sound deadening is the hard part. I have several hours in each door and about $200.00 worth of material.
On the inside of the door panel I used a razor blade to remove the sharp ridges that line the backside of the stock speaker grill. I don't actually know if they would fit but it takes 10 minutes and is very easy to do.
Other then that there is no grinding or metal work at all. You do have to mount the crossovers with two screws but the door metal is soft and if you got this far than it shouldn't be a problem.
I am very familliar with these and most Boston products because I have been selling them for many years. These speakers represent some samples that I had to buy for work. Every time a new speaker comes out I am encouraged to buy it and then I sell the old one to get my money back. I usually sell them to dealers but I thought I would give you guys an opportunity at a good deal.
As for amps, Please pm me.
Thanks
Scott

If Audio talk is your language, Scott is your man! Hell, he's only been in this business since he was 4 years old! hahaha
He did all the stereo and speaker stuff in my car and i would'nt trust anybody else to do it but him.
Bump for you Scotty.

sounds like he's a seasoned car audio vet+enthusiast. i was a hobbyist amateur years ago and have friends with/at 2 of the top shops in The Bay and several at less stellar ones, but i'm not one to impose for hook-ups on work or gear. i'm more of a hands-on person too.

anyways, nother bump for some decent everyday speakers.

You mean you don't enter the freeway that way?
Besides, there's no video, no proof, it never happened. lol
I'm popping corn under the hood. Maybe that's what the rich-like smell. haha
