FS: Custom computer
hey guys... selling my computer.. another part of making money so i can move.
this computer is a simple black case slightly stylish nothing too fancy.
1x1gb of... kingston hyperx 3200 ram... (got 1x1gb cause i planned on getting a second stick of 1gb)
256mb 7900gs by nvidia.. this video card is amazing.. no joke at all.
with this whole combo i play battlefield 2 with the resolution up to like 1600x1200 (i haven't tried higher) but it runs damn good on that resolution and 4x anti-alias and all the other settings turned up to maximum.
i do the samething in the game fear, although i am not gonna lie fear could use a bit more ram cause i don't think the game was designed to work on a computer with 1gb with settings all the way up.. it plays it but sometimes it has some lag.
specs:
NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS
>> PCI Express®
>> Memory 256MB GDDR3
>> Core Clock 525MHz (vs. 450MHz standard)
>> Memory Clock 1320MHz
>> RAMDAC Dual 400MHz
>> Microsoft® DirectX® 9.0 and lower, OpenGL® 2.0 and lower for Microsoft Windows®
>> Connectors 2 Dual-Link DVI-I, HDTV
>> 953 million vertices/sec.
>> 42.2GB/second memory bandwidth
it also comes with socket 939 AMD 3700 processor and a motherboard with i believe 1ghz fsb, SATA-2 supported
the only thing that it won't come with is the harddrive. i got this one refurbished for super cheap and have no place to put the data so i am gonna keep it.
you can also get the monitor if you'd like, its an fe991sb NEC CRT monitor, its super clear, very high resolution, mine is currently sitting at 1600x1200 for the desktop. it looks great in games handles darker scenes very very well. i will throw this in the package or sell it seperately also for $200 (going for almost $300 used.)
it has very little use time as i turn my monitor off at night or when im not using it so all day and night pretty much.
i do a lot of graphic design/web design on this computer and it handles photoshop and illustrator no problem with some of the biggest sized images. this thing packs a punch for gaming/sound/graphics.
make an offer!!

Just incase anyone isn't buying this because there's no hard drive, there's a great deal out there for 400 GB drives.
