Canon EOS 50mm lens. Barely used. $175 picked up in Vacaville.

how does the lens work? im just a starting photographer and i have a rebel xti. and how does it compare to original one that comes with the camera?

no zoom, so you have to move to crop the shot right, it's about the same as zoomed in as far as you can with the 18-55 kit lens. It opens to 1.4 so you have a much shallower depth of field (great for object photography) or low light. IMO, it's much more clear than the stock lens too.
