Car Info: Not a WRX any more . . .
FS: 2004 WRB WRX Wagon
SOLD
2004 WRX Wagon
Asking $14,000.
Email if interested, don't PM (I never see my PMs).
Details:
manual trans
Color: WR Blue Pearl
approx 86000 miles (a little under right now)
All major services done at Santa Cruz Subaru or Livermore Subaru.
Oil changes every 3000 miles, Mobil 1 used after break-in period.
The car is all stock, it's never been modded (other than putting in the rear seat center console cup holder from the Forester).
The miles are mostly highway -- I live in Fremont and used to commute to Berkeley, now Pleasanton. And I've taken several long road trips to Utah and Kansas where my parents live.
We're the only owners, we ordered this car from Santa Cruz Subaru with the following options. Everything is working fine, although the rubber mats have worn out so I'll put the original carpet mats in (they have never been used, I think they're still in the factory bag).
Additional Factory/Dealer options with MSRP and invoice prices:
Popular Equipment Group 2 (15B) $413 ($253)
Auto-dimming rear view mirror/compass
Security alarm upgrade
* 3 gauge package (turbo, oil temp, battery -- installed at the dealer for $725)
* Rear bumper cover (P2B) $57 ($37)
* Rear differential protector (P2C) $105 ($69)
* Popular Equipment Group 5 (15F) $245 ($144)
Cargo bin, rubber floor mats, cargo area tray
(note the rubber floor mats have worn out,
I will put the original carpet mats in.)
* Premium Sound package 1 (15J) $350 ($263)
Upgraded speakers, subwoofer/amplifier
We paid over $1500 for these options and most are not included in the online pricing guides.
It has the standard 16" wheels. The tires are Michelin Pilot Sport A/S.
Send me an email if you're interested. Please no PMs, I never see them. Local sales only, cash preferred -- if you want to pay with a cashiers check I'll want to go to your bank with you to get it and wait for it to clear before I give you the car. Cash would be easier I think.
And since someone will ask: why am I selling the WRX? It's a really fun car, a real joy to drive. But I need a truck. I had a truck before this, and I've replaced the WRX with another truck. And my wife doesn't like turbocharged engines or trucks, so we're selling the WRX. If I could afford 3 cars . . .

Oh, I should add: I also have the OEM bike rack and I think some tire chains. I only have one good cross bar for the roof rack though, so you'll have to find another one to use the bike rack. See this thread for details:
