FWIW... I picked up an 05 WRX with 24,000 miles on the clock for 12k.

3" TBE, Defi, JIC FLT-A2. etc etc..

Unfortunately you rarely recover costs in modding.. I also pumped 24k into a first Gen eclipse and sold it for 4.5k 2 years later..
