14k ??? wow thats way too much for your 02 wrx. i understad low miles for its year, but look around. you can actually find nice sti at price ranges of 14k-19k these days.. not to mention 2004 models. anyways good luck on your sales.

wouldn't say it's "way too much." there are a good number of people like & prefer bugeye bodies, even over STis. it's a tough economy+market to sell cars, but i've seen clean bugeyes go for decent amounts.
fwiw, mine has less than half this guy's mileage, & i want a little more for it. it does have 18" VOLKS & other goodies tho. not trying to hijack or ruin this dude's hustle. just FYI+my $.03.

don't like it? don't buy it. simple. if someone wants+is willing to pay for it, it'll sell. basic economic$.
sidenote, no need to mention the economy again. everyone knows it's tough out there. but when it comes to buying+selling wrxs+stis these days, it's esp rough. most of the ones that want them are broke &/or kiddies. everyone wants a crackhead deal nowadays. things+the scene were way different when these cars were still relatively new. all the knuckleheads+cheapskates couldn't afford em.
anyways, respect dude's thread. i haven't been on the site much recently, but seems like most of the ones poppin off, esp in the FS section are newbs... prolly young bucks too.

WRX with 80,000 mi. is just bad economics. Hell, you could pick up an 04 STi with the same mileage for 14k. Sorry if you think the Subaru community is now "knuckleheads" and "cheapskates," but you seem to fit the mold rather well. I don't see how constructive criticism when selling a high dollar item is disrespectful, the community tends to moderate prices rather well actually(maybe you haven't realized this since you've been absent from the forums.) If I posted an item up and most people thought the price was high, I'd be glad to accept any constructive criticism. That being said, GLWS Jay hope you get what you want out of selling your car
