Thanks. Ha! Yeah, no doubt. I forgot to mention that the ads says $7500 but hoping to get $6500. Just thought I would start higher on CL. Paid $6500 last June, spent I think around $8k on this thing since I was using it to bomb over 80 between Reno and the Bay Area until last March. Didn't want to chance it on that drive. The car never let me down and was a blast. We like it so much we got basically the same thing in automatic for my wife...

Decided to keep this car, then some family was interested and now it's just sitting again. It's really nice and has had over $8k spent on it in the last year or so on maintenance and upgrades like Bilstein sport struts, new front/rear rotors/pads, new engine/trans mounts, new subframe bushings, new water pump, t-stat, sensor, coolant flush and etc, etc etc etc. Gets 30+mpg if you drive nice on the freeway. Nice, big, fast, comfy and safe for the family and holds tons of crap if you need to move stuff. Power leather seats, heated front/rear, harmon/kardon sound system, sunroof, blah blah blah. Anyway, probably going to put the ad back up soon so - bump.

Your aero gets over 30 on the highway?! I felt lucky when I hit 27... Also realllll sad to see these cars selling for 6.5k when a comparable WRX would still probably be in the low 10ks... GLWS. Let me know if you want to sell/trade off that front grille, mine was blacked out by the previous owner and I hate it.

Just realized this was an ad for an 02 95 aero, and not an 05 92 aero...

Yep this is an actual Swedish SAAB, built in Trollhattan. Last trip up and back to Reno w/ 3 people plus a tiny dog and gear to stay a few days it averaged 32mpg but it was an easy cruise and I left the cruise control on as much as possible. I have heard some people getting nearly 40mpg with a tune.

This car cost ~$48k new, which blows my mind, and the values took a dump last year when SAAB went bankrupt. I think it's the same deal for the 92X's which makes it a great way to get into a WRX.

You are correct. I didn't really think this through. Took some pics on the way home so I will put them up here and put up the ad again, for what it's worth.
