Yes a 911 can do that. Here is a 911 Porsche with a Porsche motor putting down 1500 HP.

What can you do with 1500hp? Maybe he can sell it to one of the drift companies to convert to a drift car. Isn't someone running a 1200hp car on the d1 circuit right now?
For cars that aren't dedicated drag cars I just don't get it. It's like having big nuts... if you don't have a big dick too... what's the point.
