93 mazda rx7 turbo vs a 2002 subaru wrx

Well my question is what are the chances of a wrx wining against a rx7.

93 rx7 turbo (auto) stock 51,000 miles
vs

2002 wrx (manual) 14,000 miles
Apexi n1 exhaust
intake removal
KN drop in filter
Tornado fuel saver

Does that tornado fuel saver do anything? I heard good things and I am thinking of buying one , but I don't know anyone who has one.

Stock RX-7 is still lighter and has more power, I think. It would be close.

The Tornado is a cool device. It really saves fuel and gives power. You can feel fast accelaration wants you hit 3,000rpm. Then this cool sound in your intake which sounds like a tornado. I recommend it..

The tornado... $60 snake oil as far as I'm concerned. I do not own one... but think about it. Does it really matter what the air is doing infront of your filter?? Especially with modern fuel injection, where everything is regulated down to the millisecond?

You see this kid i dont like talks all this **** in school and wants to race me. So I wanna kick his ***. drop it at 4-5 rpms and redline every gear i m sure my baby will give it all she has..

GO FOR IT. it should be a close race and he may have a tiny edge on you. BUT, worse comes to worse, if you lose, you can still ***** him out for driving an AUTOMATIC. what a loser. good luck!

Its overstocked intercoolers.. I m sorry for the misunderstanding..I asked him how would i know if it was not stolen.. replied : They have ID #'s is this true

You say you think the tornado fuel saver actually works?
How big a difference in mpg are you talking about?
(as in, what did you get with out it, compared to with it?)

Also, I would be VERY careful about buying stolen property, and then mentioning it on a public board.

also about the tornado.. I say it give you anyway from 2-4mpg.. If you dont drive like an idiot. meaning around 24mpg, stock 20mpg.

With:
Has rapid accelaration after 2,500rpm with tornado also this cool spiral sound.

Tornado does nothing on modern cars, have dyno charts to prove it. Unlike a carb motor where it can sit on top of the carb and spiral the air into it aiding atomization this thing sits in the intake, goes through the TB, through the manifold, through the tumble generators, past the injectors, and into the cylinder. Most importantly it goes through a turbo, which completely negates any affect that it might have, which it doesnt. The sound that you here is the normal sound the WRX makes when the turbo kicks in, try taking that thing out and you'll here the same thing.

Tornado is snake oil, stay away.

Oh well, its cool, if you wanna beleive what people say in infomercials without having any backround knowledge to understand why or why not it's bull**** thats cool.

you will beat the rx7 easly. If it was manual that would be a different story though. The auto trannies on the 7 basically....suck. The rx7 will be running high 15's. Easy win for you
