I'm pretty sure mine is and it is a 2.5i.

98 RS is DOHC. 99 on is SOHC.

oh so tempting... this would be an easy bolt in for my 98 OB right? If so, wouldnt hurt to pick this up, rebuild (AKA "tinker" and learn), and have a spare.
