cheap struts for dirt
So I know the DMS 50 or Tein HG are the best for dirt but I don't want to spend that much for an OBS.
I was looking at reviews and on gruppe-s page and it seems like the cusco zero-1 should hold up well and has a version for the GC8. $1655 Height adjust no dampening adjust
http://www.gruppe-s.com/Subaru/subsus.htm
The tein Type GRAVEL Damper & G.TECH Spring may be the best option and as best I can tell are $1620 for the damper and springs.
"Gravel Damper & G.tech Springs were developed for entry level Gravel racing. Type Gravel is a shock absorber especially designed and developed for Rally racing and Rally cross. It can satisfy the demands of any road surface with its 16 levels of damping force adjustment. (Rebound / Compression are adjusted simultaneously). Overhaul & re-valving is available, and can be performed in the US."
http://www.tein.com/grvdamp.html
The last option is koni yellows with new OBS springs $1100 by the time I have them rebuilt. Adjustable damping but not height. Running them offroad might have an impact on the lifetime warrenty
Any suggestions?
