I have a stock turbo off a subaru wrx/forester xt (02-07 wrx, 2004-08 fxt).
Rebuilt due to leaking oil seals. No damage to either turbine whatsoever. Upgraded internals to stronger brass bearings for more reliable high boost performance. Ready to drop in and go.
