No, not for my RS, it still seems content with the whoppin 170 crank horses I have. I need it for my 1980 Datsun 280ZX. I think that the bearings are so worn that the input shaft is just sort of flopping around in there. Who has the hookup for cheap rebuilds? The quote I got at Autozone was for $890 + core. I KNOW for a fact it can be had cheaper than that. Also, Autozone price matches +5%, so if any of you kindly shop owners want to fax me a quote for slightly above wholesale, I'd glady kick back the difference.
