Nice bike for sure but I hate to burst your weight bubble. You won't even loose 11 OUNCES by stripping the paint let alone pounds.
You're talking about at most 150-200 GRAMS of weight savings. I used to race mountain bikes and two of my buddies were cross country racers and total weight weanies. Not to mention that I worked in a shop for a while.
The most I've ever heard of someone actually getting in weight is 300grams. So what... 2 ounces?
Either way.. it's sick DH bike. I have an azonic that I'm looking to get out of but it's not what you're looking for.

Yeah. That is a typo. It should be 1.1-1.3 lbs weight saved. You can look online and see others have shaved that much off this frame.

These frames come heavily powder coated from Cannondale to protect it from rocks, especially the down tube.

I used to race a cannondale. They're definitely obsessed with beauty... hence the cleaned up welds. My frame was 3.1 pounds I think or 3.3. One or the other. Miss that bike. Some bastard stole it.
Yeah my math went side ways at the gram to ounce point. LOL!
Sick *** bike though dude. I hope someone buys it. I'd love to snag it up but I'm contemplating buying a forester XT and I don't think you'd want my bike in trade... though it is a half decent build.
Someone buy this...
Oh side note... did you coat the frame with anything?

No coating on it. It gets a religious cleaning after every ride including a blow dry. I've been wanting to use some 0000 steel wool on it to finish it up, bit haven't got around to it.
I've know quite a few competitive riders who all have stripped frames (where I got this one from) and don't have issues with their frames, and they ride way harder than I do and I'm a nut.
