Can anyone change a rear Motorcycle tire?

Starting to show cords on the factory rear tire on my GSX-R. Does anybody have the tools and know how to take off the wheel and change the tire?

I can either pay for your time or grab a bottle of your favorite.

TIA

I have everything to take the wheel off... but I usually take it to Cycle Gear to change the tire out.

Sounds good. What do they charge for the work? And what city are you in?

Pretty easy to get the old tire off, new tire on. But I would take it to a local shop so they could balance it personally. I have a cheap guy in Novato

Road rider in SJ. they let you take the wheel off in the parking lot and then will change the tire for you and balance it. they even have loaner tools and jack. at least the last time i went with the R1 they did. They have good prices too.

I'm in American Canyon. Last I remember, it was something like $40 - $50 to change out two tires and balance them. I already purchased the tires.

Yea I would go there over Cycle Gear. Also, BigB or whatever on BARF can do it..I think.

I would go to Road Rider though!
