Any idea what model that is? My experience is limited, but I don't think I've seen a 3-piece borla. How big is the tip? I wonder if this fits between the XR-1 and the hush in terms of loudness.

 

I believe that is the Borla XR-1 model

 

I dunno, I ran an XR-1 for a while and it didn't have a resonator. It also was only two pieces and had a slip-joint for the downpipe flange, so I'm probably just a little out of my element here, just interested.

 

The resonator was added by the previous owner. Its louder then a hush, but i haven't heard to many regular xr-1 up in person. So from what i can say its right in between the two

The Hush is 3 piece also. The connection points are just different than that one.

 

I'll double check it when I get to my car but I believe mine is a two piece, same as my XR-1, unless you're counting the flange as a third.

 

Yes, the flange. I know it is that way to make it easy to change to match different DPs, but it is still a third piece to me
