Engine has just recieved major service including fresh head work, new timing chain, gaskets, alternator, wiper transmission... The works! This thing has at least another 100k left before the next major service ('cept 30k tranny services req.) New tires on the front were recently installed, rear tires have about 70% left.
I've been driving this car about 5-6k miles, and it is an absolute pleasure to drive. It has recieved an upgraded spring package that tightens up the handling without ANY harshness, as well as lowering the car a minimal ammount. Clear corner fixtures were added, which really make the front end look clean. You may see in the pictures a vent missing from the driver side front lip. I have this part brand new, just not installed when these pictures were taken.
And belive me... This thing is F-A-S-T. Matched 280 hp/torque
What do I want for this Euro Hot-rod? ... a 99-01 GC8. (give or take $1-$4k depending on condition) As much as I love this car, I still have about $10k in upgrades for a 2.5L engine, and subaru's are where my heart is. Without trade I'm looking at $14,500 for this beast.
If you have a GC8, and you want to step it up an ishload of noches, Nows the time. I'll let it go cheap with trade. Email me awd_dan@supersleepers.com If you would like to see the car, I'm located in Santa Cruz, and am willing to meet up for serious buyers in the greater San Francisco Bay area. You will NOT be dissapointed.

Thats a sweet car. I don't have any GC8 to trade, but I have another proposition for you
I will trade you a ride in your beast for a ride in my boring old WRX. By the way, I am local, if you are interested in meeting up for a bar b que/car talk hang out whatever, let me know.

do you really have to trade / get rid of it. its a shame its not worth alot, because its kind of a historic car. meaning, the first product coming from MB & AMG since MB bought the tuner.
i had a C43, and traded it to get my wife an suv and i try not to think about it all that much...still hurts...
but if youre going to trade it for anything, an sti is well worth it. i dont think a regular wrx (no offense to anyone) is worth the trade.
wish i had 14k...

Yes I still have the vishnu kit... Its just too damn good of a kit to let it go, so I've decided I HAVE to use it
Its a tough decision I must say, since I spent time tighting up the C36 and tackling any 'issues' it had, or was about to have. (I'm a dork like that) Its a very relaxing drive... plus being able to say "Lets roll in da BENZ yo!", never thought I'd be behind the wheel of one of these.
But then, I get behind the wheel of an impreza, RS, WRX... and my spine tingles.
I need to be back to <1:44 lap times at Laguna. The twisties call to me.
