3rd break light sensor [rear deck?]

Does anyone have one? I swapped Wingless to WRX winged trunk but didnt trade the break light connector on the car [rear deck], so i dont have the sensor/wire/plug to connect the wire from the 3rd break light to on the car. so the 3rd break light on the wing doesnt work. Anyone have one that doesnt need it?

thanks!
Danny

The wiring harness should be tucked away somewhere, I believe towards the right side of the trunk.

no, pull away the carpet by the passenger side wheel well, there will be a small white harness towards the top.

There is a separate harness for the wing's light. If is above the rear passenger wheel well, behind the trunk carpeting.

You can disconnect the parcel shelf brake light, that harness is right below the light fixture in the trunk, that harness can be left unplugged.

he's right.

there are 2 separate wires.

one for the wing 3rd brake light and another for the rear deck 3rd brake light.

so technically you can run both lol

You don't need to do anything with the seat.

Open your trunk and stick your head in. Look to the right (passenger side) and you'll see the shape of the wheel well in the carpeting. At the top of the carpeting above the wheel well, pull it back. The plug will be behind the carpeting, above the wheel well.

yes, its the white one. Is the wire on the trunk perhaps wrapped around the beam? Snagged somewhere? I've had both a WRX and STi wing brake light wire connect to the harness in the corner.
