It's called a subsidized phone when you got your phone for $199 because AT&T sells you the phone for cheap because you need to sign a contract without signing a contract the phone cost $500 new...........

 

the contract is the real bullSHAT about getting an iPhone. you're basically agreeing 2k dedicated to ATT over the course of 2 years. in this current economy jobs arent stable and it's easier than ever to lose income, and god forbid that happens, that's when that contract bites you in the ***.

all in all. 350's a good price.

350 is an amazing price... yes, ATT sells them for 99.99 WITH a 2 year commitment. at 140.00 a month, (for the unlimited iphone plan) thats 3360.00 PLUS the 99.99. Of course, you could buy the phone, break the contract for 200.00 and unlock it at the hack shops for 20.00 bucks... so thats 320.00. He's charging 30 bucks more and the leg work is done for you.

I don't understand that math.. my new iphone 3gs + unlim iphone plan + 3 other phones family package w/ unlim fam txt barely touches $140 a month. It nearly cost a little over 90 bucks for a iphone to be on its own plan.

I just unlocked and jailbroken my 3gs but it wasn't worth it losing battery life on winterboard so I undid everything but it had tons of cool features. If anyone in sac want to unlock/jailbreak their iphone pm me and il do it for free.

 

how would winterboard cause ur battery life to go down...? cause you only use it for so long.. if people really want to increase there battery life turn off wifi and you really dont need the 3g so unless your watching youtube a bunch or downloading big files turn off the 3g n you'll see your battery life last probally another 3 to 4 hours..!

Thats just crazy. I pay 99.99 for all that with sprint. if you're lucky enough to get one of these bad boys, that simply everything plan with sprint is pretty cool.

It's not BS it makes the phone cost $400 less for someone to buy, AT&T pays full price from apple for the iphone. It takes them about 10 month to make any money from the customer. That's why if you go buy a blackberry from metro you pay $450 for it because you have no contract and you can leave when you want. You can buy a phone from AT&T at full price and have no contract. They add the contract for people that want to save money.
