I have a 07 Impreza 2.5i and I do not wanna be left with just the basics so I am trying to add some goodies. What I want to know is, will a Turbo from a WRX or STI fit on my base model impreza with little to no work done, minus the install and stuff. New to tuning and Subaru in general so anything anybody can help with will be immensely helpful

 

I wouldn't turbo that open deck high compression n/a motor. For the amount of money you are going to spend on a decent setup you really should just find a full ej207 sti jdm turbo swap or an ej205 wrx turbo swap.

Without lowering compression that motor will pop if you go north of 6-8 psi. You'll also need a really good tune.

ALright man thanks for the info. Well with the exception of putting on a turbo, what are a few things I can do here and there to increase the performance?
