Since I want to get a Cobb CBE, would buying a new one or used one be better or would it even matter?

for exhaust parts being used or new shouldnt matter. the only thing i guess you would need to watch out for is if the exhaust tips have scratches on them since thats the only part you would really see from the outside. for something like a catted dp, if you are really worried about a cat going bad you could buy that new, but personally i would just buy the whole thing used and save the rest of the money for something else

 

I would not be worried with used parts post Turbo. If you go catless be sure to hold onto your stock stuff for smog.
