Hello I-Club,

Name is Navi from the SF Bay Area, CA and I recently purchased my second Subaru Coupe. I previously had a 1998 2.5RS But had to sell it when I moved to Los Angeles, CA but ever since I moved back home to SF Bay Area I wanted to buy another coupe so I bought a 2000 Subaru L Coupe (Cheaper ($2,000), lower miles (131,000), and in better condition than my old RS).

I had the car for 2 weeks now and have bought 04 wrx wheels and got some new Hankook tires since I didnt like the look with the MB wheels that came with the car. I also removed the weird spring compressor/extendor from the rear springs that came on the car.

Last week I picked up some 2-pot front brake calipers, rotors, and pads and now just need the rest of the parts to switch out the rear dumb brakes.

Newest modd I have researching on is the suspension since the stock suspension with aftermarket springs feels like **** (Bottoms out, scrapes on hard turns; struts are porb out). I am really going towards Koni Yello + Ground Controls (550 lb Front and 500lb in Rear) , with some Group N top hats (If I can find some).

I can already tell that I will be spending alot of time with the car in hopes to swap out the motor for something simple like the EJ205 or EJ 257 or do something more custom with a H-6 motor with the goals of making 300 awhp.

My 1998 2.5RS with 242,000 miles, still ran great!
