How many 12 second Subaru's you think they've seen at this place?

About March/April '04 timeframe, I should be moving to somewhere around the Ft Gordon/Augusta, GA area.

Here's a map to the closest dragstrip (18 miles away, and one of about 3 or 4 in the Georgia/S.Carolina area that are 1/4 mile)

Here's the track's Website.

I'd actually say a few more than HRP has seen at least. The WRX should be really popular down there, and there's an AWD dyno in Atlanta. You should be hooked up over there!

Pat, I might guess that the old south has the fewest 12-second Subarus because:

a) It isn't the West or (northern) East Coast, and

b) it isn't the snowbelt mid-west where Subarus sell well.

Wanna play a mean trick on the locals at the drags? Get your tube of GEDDEX dial-in marker and paint '14.80' on your windows before you make your first pass. Then tell 'em that all the Subarus in HI run high-14's in the tropical air.

Ha ha ha. Now that would be funny. Lord knows I've blamed the local weather and track here enough.

Mario, for sure. We've always got the i-club to communicate. Maybe we can pick a new racetrack/dragstrip per month. When are you leaving?

Julio, I ain't leaving yet. It's always cool to meet new Impreza owners because my experience has been that they are usually the right amount of cool and truly appreciate cars. Hopefully when they set a date for the November track day, I can finally make one and then see you there. That or an AutoX.

You're moving away

At least shipping parts will be cheaper and you have a dyno to play with.

Sweet, Mario. Why on earth are you going to Pensacola? Are you getting out of the Infantry (like myself)?

Nope, i only started my second term a year ago, but im taking a much needed break from the BS. Im gonna be an instructor. Its called Cadre duty where we (marines) teach the navy basic sucurity forces ie: ship board sucurity, raod blocks, basic
weapons tactics that some may of forgot. the best thing about this from what i here is i'll have an actaul work schedule, with that time i'll be able to go back to school. i really need to go back to school.
