Roof rack? Blacked out/tinted lights?

What's the best roof rack to use on a subie? I have a 2011 wrx with no factory bars. I also wanted a snowboard rack too. Inno Yakima or thule I'm guessing but how did you guys set yours up.

As well I want to black out or tint my lights. What is the best way to do this I'm willing to do it myself. I heard of spraying them and applying the tint film I just can't decide so hopefully you guys can help.

Thanks!

I was debating on getting a Yakima WHisperbar base system, but also wanted to the roof faring on just because it looks cool... but wouldn't that be a moot point as the whispbar already eliminates noise =)

I was looking at the Yakima too just not the whisperbars lol then for me the faring would have a purpose but it definitely does look cool I agree LOL

Derp just noticed you are looking for one to go on a 2011 with no rails. My previous post does not fit than.

Seriously contemplating on getting the roof rack but as far as usefulness goes I think I will get push to start for the wrx first. I constantly find myself fumbling for my keys while hold the diaper bag, baby carriage, milk bag, etc.... The push to start, proximity unlock and lock doors will be awesome!

Your WRX should come with Factory rails.... sedan or hatch.. But Yakima whisper bars are pretty common for GH/GR's.

IMO, Vinyl is best. Its reversable, but thats me.

vinyl will be better in the long run. Just peel off and replace if it gets rock chipped. It's super simple, you just need a soap solution + heat gun. there are videos on youtube
