I would hold off on the DP and just put on the catback. You're still in the early break-in stage and you'd want to make sure everything is working flawlessly before you start voiding your warranty.. plus, you won't be able to utilize the new found power anyway. Also, its' fun to be able to compare stock power with stage 2 power. My .02

Break it in first then after Downpipe and catback. Followed by any type of engine management to flash your ecu to stage 2. Cobb Ap being the most user friendliest.

thanks a lot guys. I appreciate it...yeah i figured I might get some comments telling me to hold off on mods since its a new car still...I just checked it out this morning, and I got 1400 miles on it...SO basically i should hold off on all upgrades besides catback, and wait till I break it in a little more before I start to seriously mod it?

Baby your car up to the 3,000 mile mark, then you're pretty much good. Try and keep it under 3500rpms intil then.

I just got my WRX (2006) about 3 weeks ago. I bought it with 8k miles on it.

My mods are
turbo back(greddy ti-c catback, perrin catless downpipe)
Polyurethane V-Limited Style Front Lip
hks BOV(the new one )
enkei RPM2's(came with when bought)
proxes 4's(came with when bought)

and i just ordered BC BR racing coilovers yesterday.

i dont have it tuned yet but i'm not smashing it around town, engine is running a little rich but it's alright.(btw full catless turboback smells )

You should save up some money so you can get Engine Management at the same time you get you DP and catback. I guarantee you will get boost creep with those bolt-ons and no EM. Even with just a DP and no EM, your AFRs will not look good.

tires are like the one thing you can't be cheap on. if you go the 17inch way it will be cheaper b/c there's less demand, however 18inchers are more monneeyyyy (more demand)

I'm happy though i bought my car with prox 4's(18inch) 75-80% thread left
