Newbie

Hello everyone, I'm new to the tread n was wondering if it was possible to have my car tuned without a piggyback or access port from Cobb, I drive an 05 wrx n have mods of full catless exhaust from up pipe strait back, aps cold air intake and dual vent aps b.o.v, think I'm running a little lean judging by the aem uego guage readings between 14:6-15:9 some times even 13:9-15:9, if any one can help please let me know thanks

Want some help? Ok.... The mods you have NEED tuning. Our cars in general need tuning. If you fell your knowledgable enough to tune your own vehicle, there are plenty of different ways you can go about doing so. But if you have to ask the question you did, you should leave it to a pro. Remove that BOV too that might help.

A Stock Bpv aka BOV is all you need. unless you have the mods or a tuner who recommends you have an aftermarket BOV, stick with the stock. If you do a little searching on Google or this forum or Nasioc, you will find plenty of posts about why a stock unit is better. If the sound is what your are going for you will still get it with a stock unit and your CAI.

Hey thanks again, I did remove the aps bov and put the oem back plus found that I had a busted gasket and replaced it but now the a/f guage reads 15:6-16:1 at normal driving and at racing speeds its between 13 and 14:7 is that bad because I had the mods since I got the car in 2006

Don't run the car hard without a proper tune

Welcome to the club, as others have advised I would not run the mods you have untuned. Subies are very fickle about that sort of thing.
