hey guys!
just moved to cali from neb, north bay area
i drive a 98 RS. ive owned my subie for just about 9 years now, and i dont see myself ever getting rid of it.
ive had the car for a long time, however most mods have been reverted back to stock or near stock form
the car just hit 230,000 miles and runs great!
i entered this car in last years SCCA Rallycross full season. we took first in Nebraska Region, and was sitting third nationally until the car broke on second day at nats. just behind a 2 driver car that held 1st and 2nd places by a mile..
needless to say, this is the quickest N/A rallycross car nationally. i must say tho, i finished 6th nationally so yeah...
i also got rallyX rookie driver of the year, as i was not a full member previous years.. kinda cheap, but i still dig it!
-basicaly, ive had the car for years, and its been thru hell and back>
its not the nicest looking car, but it sure is fun!
-
planning on continuing my routine of *weekly meets that Nebraska-subaru.com held every week, and tryn to do them out here.
i was actually referred to this site on a conversation at a different forum, so this my be redindant, however there are a few guys near me (santa rosa area) that seem to like the idea of weekly meets, so, i think ima start something out this way..
-
very excited to participate in i-club meets!
keep an eye out for me RS, you cant miss it! unless ya eyes be closed...

good idea, however i WILL be one to say, im not traveling that far for a meet that starts at 9-10? please dont flame, i AM in that consideration for the *itching tag, however im not tryn to be an a**. im simply going to start something for the guys up here who want something going on every week
ultra mini meet near sebastipol/santa rosa area is where it will be happening.. for the like 5 or so of us out here lol...
-neb had about 2 dozen cars show up everyweek. i figured if id moved out here, thered be a million and one subies with meets out the yingyang.
i dont see that, and from what ive heard, its all very segregated.
rally guys dont mix with the low riders. the street racers dont mix with the cruz'rs
everyones got their own *click
i should have guessed this as i AM or did come to Cali, however i like it when you show up to a meet and just about everyones got something different going on.
not a dozen guys running e85 setups that wouldnt care for my n/a RS mud slinger, or the guy with the rugged outdoors-y outback lifted and rack'n
it is what it is yeah?
well, i dont care
ima show up at all sorta of meets, with an intent of being covered in mud as much as i can..
well, hoping im not making enemys
good weekend everyone! time for a subaru sunday drive!

Welcome.. Keep the positive attitude. Don't listen to people who tell you it's too clicky. You'll find that anywhere. I'm built E85 ready and I love to see a variety. At the meet I go to when I have time we have had impreza, wrx, legacy, m3, 240sx, integra, Evo, civics, and even an rx8. It's not about what you drive. It's much more about if you have tastefully modified your vehicle. Apart from the vehicle it's about your own character. I've picked up a few family members at my meet and they remain that way even though I haven't been out much since my daughter was born. Welcome aboard.
