Hi guys, I just purchased a black 2006 STI a few days ago so I guess i joined the subaru club. My last car was a toyota tercel so it was quite an upgrade.

Driving the car is almost as fun as riding my motorcycles - i never thought that
was possible.. but i need something i can take up to tahoe.

I'd like to get a snowboard rack, mudflaps, and probably upgrade the sound.

I am more concerned about audio fidelity than massive bass...
headunit wise - people seem to be telling me to get the pioneer z3. any thoughts on head units is appreciated too. Dont really know too much about car luxuries... heater and ac... ridiculous.

I have plans to ungrade my sounds next week, so it should be good. Wireless World in Morgan Hill is the only place I will go. Mario takes care of all my vehicles and he is a car buff himself so he maintains the integrity of the vehicle with some KICK A$$ mods!
Yes I ride, I love it! However, I just sold my bike to a buddy of mine since he wanted to start I have a Yamaha FZ750, it was metallic blue and it screamed at about 9000 RPM. I loved my bike! And I will hold you to that promise for a ride, btw! lol

Yea, i'm still not used to the low red-line on my car, i hit the rev limiter so much it's ridiculous.

What sound system upgrade are you doing? I'm trying not to spend too much for the whole system.. like.. maybe 2k.. ish?

I dunno. ive only had the car for 2 days. My buddies say i need to calm down.

It is easy to get excited about a car, I know I am the same way with mine! I love my STi!!
It is going to be similar to the one I have in my truck; Pioneer Touch screen with bluetooth, navigation and IPod/DVD, 2 12" subs and 2 amps. But I think the Subie is going to have some blue or pink LEDs in the trunk and a nice plexi case in the back. He pretty much designs everything and then puts the sponsor sticker on my car. Once I get everything done, I will post pics, lol...
I like alot of bass, lol, and that is what I have in my truck so I know I will like it...but who knows how it will turn out...
Best way to do it? I made a list of everything I want to do to my car, and then take it slowly from there... :-)

"Hang" could be defined as a place where your car breaks down and you are stuck...lol

I sold it...had a bad accident on a dirtbike and kinda lost the edge there for a while...rofl sucks to be me, I know...
