hey, what color is your Suby?

If you ever see a silver 2002 with black morette headlights and a "velocity" sticker on the windshield, throw me a wave...I try to wave at em all, but sometimes I miss some

As far as mods, it depends if you want to go the suspension or power route first.

Suspension-springs and rear swaybar
power-cobb AP, then exhaust downpipe and CBE

its rally blue and i want both suspension and power, nothing crazy, but something a little more power and better handling would definatly be nice, any suggestions on a good cbe and downpipe

pm this guy VRT Gump
He's got a nicely worked TR and should be able to show you the route he went and give recommendations on parts.

Welcome to I-club and the Suby world I'm currently a recovering addict formerly from the Monterey area.

^^hey, thatsme

I think I might have seen you the other day by CSUMB. Didnt get a wave up because the median had some trees.

power:
cobb AP
downpipe
catback exhaust
tune
this will give you around 215-220whp and 245-250 ft. lb. torque

suspension:
rear sway bar
rear strut bar
front sway bar
springs or full coilovers

i had a set of STi pinks on mine before I got coilovers and it rode very nice.

check out a couple of the shops on here and you will see what the prices run. For tuning, either Mike at GST Motorsports or Ed from EQ tuning.

pm me if you have any further questions.

Helix is a good DP to go with, but I think Titek is the newer knock off of Helix (I don't know about the quality though). As far as the CBE section goes, that depends if you want loud or stealth.

Maybe VRT Gump and I can get a mini meet together or something

when when??

from what I have heard, titek is about the same as the helix, but fits better.

I have a Mon/Wed 6-9pm class and Tuesdays I have work until 7:30, so whichever of those three days works foe you and the OP (assuming he wants to come out to a mini meet) I can also probably get Nick to come out, although I know he has evening classes Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday

y0, I think I might know who you are. I drive a CGM 05 STi around Seaside/Monterey a lot, and I've got two buddies that drive black 06's around Monterey a lot.

We've got a little meet we do in Seaside at the Starbucks in the Border's parking lot on Saturday nights. Feel free to stop on by around 8:00PM or so. We're usually out there for a couple hours.

As far as mods, it really depends on how much you want to spend. TB exhaust and a tune are the quickest hp adders. Then again there's always suspension, brakes, etc. It really depends on your goals. We've got a couple nice suby's that come out there, one has a whole **** load of power, and a couple with some nice suspension mods, and a ricer *** honda. haha, come out man, PM me if you need help finding it!
