So I assume you just bought this car and don't know what is installed, right?
The best thing to do is to get over to EQ and have them do their thing.
If you can't wait that long then post some pictures of the engine bay and turbo and I'm sure someone on the forums will be able to help you out.

I used to be Ducati, Triumph, Yamaha mechanic and one thing I learned about being a mechanic is to always try to help the customer out if they got screwed by someone or whatever the situation. The customer is coming to you because they do not have the skills or the tools to do the repairs, I have a friend named Lance, I havent seen him in a few years but I always remembered how he helped out his customers @ Desmoto Sport in SF. you see Ducatis are the not the finest engineered motorcycles ever made and are not the most reliable combustable engine on the road. sorry if I offend anyone but I feel like know those bikes a bit more than the average person, so back to my friend Lance, he ran and might still run Desmoto, and he was always getting people coming in with Ducs they had purchased almost 75% of the time you buy a used ducati it is pretty screwed mechanically but most likely looks great on the outside. I witnessed some of these customers coming in afer getting screwed out of thousands of dollars He would be really nice and try to help them. My old boss was the same way, he would spend days on bikes with the weirdest problems after the customer had been turned away by every shop because they did not want to waste their precious time or money. he would take on these crazy jobs and help them out I wold always ask him dude why the hell are you working on that pile of junk, he would often say "I hate to see honest people getting screwed, because that reminds me of when I was the underdog in the situation and it sucks to be told that a place that is their to fix your bike cant help you, why the hell are they doing it?"

Looks like I found a shop who is gonna take a look @ what I'm working with. . . .

Lance, hasn't been at Desmoto for over 2 years, he's running "medicinal" clubs now....and coming from another Ducati tech, your reaching a bit in you comments about Ducs I'm sure the LIC boys had a good reason to not take you in.

I agree with you, I am im no way trying to heckle the guys in Novato, though it may seem so. I completely respect them and respect their decision as professionals to not want to get into anything they were not comfortable with working on. now that I read my last post I came off pretty lame and arrogant i'll try to reword that. had a bad few weeks.

Figured Lance wasn't there anymore, but running med clubs?!Ha!

but you have got to agree with me working on ducatis can be a bit more frustrating than other bikes. Where do you work on ducs? what ya ride? I owned a 2004 and 2005 r6, the 2005 was for the track. . . . i probably shoulda been riding a kawi 250 though
