No offense OP, but have u even tried looking at other build threads. there are so many out there. including my own. in those kinds of build threads (any build from stock RS to 800+ AWHP STI powerhound) youll definately find what you are looking for and more. and as previous response stated, who built it? what was done? (over size bore? mating surfaces machined? crankshaft machined? etc) all these play a role in your "break-in period". not to mention what is needed to be done BEFORE break in. i.e priming oil pump properly, making sure all grounds are solind, etc. from what i have read though, some people let idle for 1/4-1/2 a tank and keep it under 2-3ks on the first drive. obviously you dont want WOT on the first couple or few tanks. but going down the street to pick up groceries is no big. just baby it for the first few tanks and i think you should be soild. but like i said, really take a look at the build threads on here. GL with everything!

GL i guarantee youll find more answers than questions just by browsing the many different threads.

Also, throw up some more info if possible:

-mileage?
-tech? (who built it)
-reason for rebuild?
-stock OE internals?
-intended driving?
-mods?
-etc.

just list as much possible info as you can. this will ensure you getting the right answer instead of and

I suggest driving normally. Bring rpms up but not with the throttle at 100%
