just bought a 04 sti

so i finally bought a sti. i picked up a 2004 wrx sti, blue with gold bbs's. completely stock. needs some tlc for sure.. its got 107xxx miles. needs oil change, timing belt/pulleys/water pump, rotors, radio, tires...to name a few.

i did notice on the drive home that it is only boosting to .05 mpa/ around 7 psi.. any ideas on the low boost?

might be a boost leek, i would take it to a close shop asap and have them do a solid look over. stock boost is about 16psi on a 04 sti

thanks guys. i will be doing all repairs myself on the sti. ive searched a bit and found it could be in safe/limp mode, boost leak, or cracked turbo/weak wastegate spring. ill be checking it out after work today.
