a 2004 STi swap that is BAR legal and passes smog. Has the full tranny and drivetrain swap. 30,000 miles on both all stock. Looks pretty nice over all. Asking 12,000. Thoughts ?

 

If it has all receipts from the swap from a shop then go for it. 12k for a legit swap is a good deal. If it was swapped in someones garage or owner has no receipts(missing receipts) DONT DO IT.

 

Sounds like a great deal. How many miles are on the chassis and what does the suspension look like? I'd definitely ask for a leak down/compression test before purchase just to make sure everything is in good shape.

 

To both, yes I plan on doing a full test at my local mechanic. It is all legit so I think I'm going to go with it. Thanks a lot guys !

 

I'd like to ad that there is 105,000 on the chassis and the suspension is a J1C or something or other.
