Hello and New'b wheel question

Hi kids, I got a good deal an 00 outback sport a couple of weeks ago, and now here I am.

I think this will be my first question on this board so I thought I'd post it here. My suby came with steel wheels and hubcaps (one reason for the good price I'm sure) and I'm looking to get something a little better looking on soon, hopefully on the cheap, since winter is a lean time for me.

Here's the actualy question: Is there any reason why I COULDN'T use a set of Scion TC rims, I think I found a good deal, I looked them up and they are 5x100 with a +45 offset. I believe stock on my car (probably all our cars) is +48, is that right? Would that difference cause me problems? Any other diference to anyones knowledge that would bone me?

Thanks all,
Ian

Well, I missed out on the wheels, but its probably just as well. I believe I was a good bit off on the impreza offset. Also, it was rims only, so a test fit wouldn't have done the trick.

According to this:
http://wac.addr.com/auto/obs/wheels.html

I'll need something with +50mm offset or greater, stock being listed at +55. Thanks goodness for the interwebhole.

I test fit some tC wheels a few days later, no good. Managed to get some 05 WRX wheels yesterday, problem solved.
