Hello from the Bay Area!
Hey everyone,
Glad I decided to join i-club!
I've had my 02 2.5rs for about 2 years now (just hit 100k this morning)
Has a couple of mods on it to make me feel nice.
I have two plan choices for it as of now:
1) Either do a full STI swap and keep the 2.5rs badge on
2) Just sell her and buy an 06+ STI
Probably going with the second choice soon!
Have a nice day.

Car Info: 02 WRX Wagon
STI swaps are big money and serious business(figure ~$10K for a complete swap), but dropping a WRX motor in there and doing a couple of suspension upgrades can be done for $2-4K and still result in a much quicker car that will drive totally differently. I'd say like 70% of the STI's speed can be achieved at that price point.
Keep in mind that you won't be able to get any of this money back when you go to sell the car so it's pretty much gone down the drain. Buying a ready working car is much simpler and cheaper in the long run than dealing with a swap.
