Wow, I used to change my streetbike tires on my garage floor. Ha. I just moved to a teeny town and damn, I miss things about the Bay for sure. Mostly food, friends and racetracks. Good luck! Check out a rodeo Chris LeDoux style.

The Laramie Wyotech is only a few hours from the Denver area where I'm from so I have a bunch of friends who ended up over there. The good thing about the program at the Laramie campus is that it's about 5 months shorter than the program in Fremont. That's handy because, take it from me, Wyoming is VERY different from the Bay Area and it's not even close to being exciting. The lack of things to do in Wyoming (and the guy:girl ratio at the school) was the biggest complaint I heard from my friends who attended that Wyotech. I think you'll like it though, it isn't easy, but you'll definitely learn a lot. Despite what the people in this thread have said about the Fremont Wyotech, they're all good schools and you get out of it what you put into it.

As a side note, you should take a look at www.awdpirates.net, it's a site for Suby owners in that general area. It's mostly Colorado, but Fort Collins is close enough to Laramie, and I think there are actually some Wyotech students who post there.

Good luck, have fun, enjoy the dirt roads...there are lots of them out there.

Before I quit work, with 2 guys, we could change, balance, and bolt the assmblies on in about 8 minutes a car. It just comes with practice, and I've heard very mixed reviews on Wyotech.

I wish you the best there, and I hear you get to test BMWs that are still in prototype stage. You're gonna get the spy shots of them right?

I think you're confusing Wyotech with the BMW Step program. The Step program is based out of the Fremont campus and they don't get to test anything, they just train on the new models before they're on showroom floors in order to familiarize themselves with them before they have to service one for a customer. They do dealer training for current BMW techs there too, it's pretty cool. Anyway....

Does your friend with the lifted chevy truck have a "SKIN" sticker on the back window?
