Finally got a Subi 08 imprez wrx looking for hot spots and locals in S. Bay area
New to Iclub, and after driving nothing but 4x4 Toyota's for 20yrs and rock crawling for 10yrs, I just picked up an 08 wrx , had about 7months. 37K miles
I see that the AC clutch design sucks, so that broke already. I removed it so I could drive. seeking a used but new ac unit to grab the clutch from it. then mod it so it does not brake again
My first mod was the Flip key remote.
2nd mod was the grill
3rd mod was AVS seamless window visors, the best looking out there.
4th mod is going to be the Alcantara steering wheel and a shifter
Already in love with the 2010, so I dont think I will go to far with mods, as I plan to trade up to a 10.
I know many mountain roads around here, from riding my street luge and from a great website called pushnet.net think that is the spelling. it gives pictures, description of the road, best time to drive all the good stuff.
Anyway, looking to chat some Subi and meet some Subi enthusiasts.
I am all about research and tech mods.
Looking forward to reading and giving some good info here.
Subi Cheers!

Congrats on the new ride. I'm still fairly new to the Subaru community as well but there is a lot going on here in the bay area. Just check out the bay area section of the forum. Oh and lets see some pics.
