failed OBD II readiness smog
failed OBD II readiness smog
i have a 2004 wrx that has been recently put back to stock, went to get it smogged and failed due to OBD II readiness. Not sure if i still have the mechanical o2 sensor fix and or the resistor mod still installed. which one would i need to remove to have my OBD II sensors working and pass smog?

Readiness monitor is cause you probably cleared the memory before going into smog. Go drive your car at a constant 60-65mph for 15-20minutes and try to smog again.
Happened when i tried to smog an older car i had. You unplugged the battery and reset all the readiness things. I think there are 4 and u only need 3 to be ready.
Drive at 65mph constantly the best u can for 10 minutes and go smog. Don't turn the car off after u drive until u smog

Happened to me on my 4Runner a few years back since I had the infamous EVAP P420 code. Drove around got lunch etc came back and it was good to go. Just made sure my OBDII reader had a green light.
I put about 800 miles on car since i cleared the memory. I think im still waiting on o2 to be ready on the monitors. Mechanical fix could be the problem not letting monitor be in a ready state?
