i don't know about you guys, but i LOVE it when we get a good layer of the white stuff on the roads... i just got back from a half-hour joy ride in the big-*** parking lot behind the local mall. there were dudes driving giant earth-moving equipment plowing, so i had to watch where i was going to some extent, but it's a BIG lot--perfect for 2nd gear drifts @ around 40mph. i had my little sister in the car and she was amazed at how the car handles.

i love the look of surprise when people see this little compact wagon go plowing through the drifts, snow floating up over the bumper, wipers on full blast, and two people with HUGE grins on their faces in the front seats!

in my opinion, the absolute best thing about the wrx is how it handles crappy surfaces... mud, snow, ice, water, etc. the kickass power is just gravy.

I went out today too!

I found this 1 mile dirt road I used to run on back in the day....before you go on the road you see a sign that says, "Not Serviced in Winter"

oh yeah!

Made me wonder...is the STi AWD goign to be better than my current outback?
