whats the difference between this turbo and the vf39? i am looking for a vf39 but if the difference is minimal then i would be looking for another one.

They are about the same turbo. I have been hearing of used vf39's developing cracks in the turbine housing though.

Just to help you out here man, the VF34 is a dual ball barring turbo vs. the VF39 wich is just a normal turbine turbo. The VF34 will spool much faster and cleaner then all the other VF series and make full power at 2800rpm's, at least it did for me. Suprized no one wants it. Good luck...
